We were heading home, we're about halfway home when it started raining, pretty heavily. Although Nitya is a pretty cautious driver. I'm following them behind even though I would normally drive about ten miles an hour faster. It's a good thing that Adriti isn't driving, we'd all be in trouble.
"Dhruv, are you awake?" He's staring out the window and hasn't said much since we left the Slam hall. I can't tell whether he's lost in thoughts or passed out.
He grumbles a response, informing me that he's still awake. "I want to tell you something Ishaan." "That you like Nitya?" "How did you know?" He asked in shock. "Dude I know you since 8 years. And I saw the way you look at her." "Well... Yeah I like her." "Then what's the problem?" "I don't know, like I can't confess my feelings to her. What if she already has a boyfriend, or what if she likes someone else." "Well, she doesn't ha-" "Ishaan!" Dhruv yells. My first instinct is to slam on the brakes, but I'm not sure why I'm slamming on the brakes. I glance at Dhruv, and his eyes are glued to the oncming traffic in the lanes to the left of us. I turn my head and see it just as the truck crosses the median and hits the car in front of us.
