My heart skipped a beat as I locked eyes with Adriti, the connection between us undeniable. For a moment, I momentarily forgot about the trophy in my hand, losing myself in the depth of her eyes. As she approached, I collected myself and tried to maintain my composure.

I cleared my throat, my gaze never leaving Adriti as I handed the trophy to her and her teammate. I managed a smile, but my voice was a touch huskier than usual as i addressed the crowd.

The audience cheered and clapped, but I only had eyes for Adriti, who was accepting the trophy with a mixture of disbelief and joy. The electricity between us was palpable, and I found myself fighting the urge to reach out and touch her, just to confirm that this connection was real.

As Adriti and her teammate posed for photographs with the trophy, I found myself still watching her intently. The way her smile lit up her face, the way her eyes sparkled with happiness... it was all overwhelming. The applause from the crowd faded into the background as my mind buzzed with a million thoughts..

As the photographs came to an end, I knew this was my chance to speak to Adriti. I waited until she was free from the crowds and then approached her, my heart racing in my chest. Adriti looked up, her eyes widening slightly as they met mine, and for a moment, neither of us spoke. We simply stood there, exchanging glances that held a thousand unspoken words..Finally, I found my voice, my words breaking the charged silence between us. "That was some game, Adriti. You were incredible out there." I managed a smile, trying to hide the fact that my heart was pounding in my chest. Adriti smiled back, a slight blush rising to her cheeks. "Thank you. It feels surreal, to be honest." I chuckled softly, the sound barely audible over the ongoing celebration. "You looked like a completely different person when you were playing," i said, my voice filled with admiration. "So focused and determined, like nothing else mattered." Adriti's blush deepened, and she ducked her head slightly, feeling both flattered and flustered by my praise. I took a step closer, the air between us feeling thinner. "You truly are a force to be reckoned with," i said softly, my voice sincere. "I'm honored to be witnessing your talent firsthand." I paused, my gaze locked onto hers. "And it wasn't just a coincidence that you won today, you know. You had a little help from a secret admirer in the stands." Adriti raised her eyebrows in surprise, her curiosity piqued. "A secret admirer, you say?" She asked, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. I chuckled, a hint of nervousness in my tone. "Well, who else do you think was rooting for you the loudest?" Adriti's smile grew wider, her eyes sparkling with a mix of amusement and intrigue. "And tell me, Mr. Secret Admirer," she teased, "how exactly did your cheering help me win the game?" I chuckled again, feeling my confidence returning. "Well, let's just say," i began, my voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, "that my support was more than just vocal. I have a good feeling it helped keep you focused and motivated, don't you think?" Adriti rolled her eyes playfully. "You think you have that much power, do you?" She asked, a hint of flirting in her tone. I feigned offense, putting a hand to my chest. "I'll have you know I have a very potent cheering voice," I joked. Adriti laughed, her head tilting back slightly, and I felt a rush of satisfaction at being able to make her laugh. "Well," she said, a wicked gleam in her eye, "if your vocal support does have such power, I think I'll be expecting you at my next game as well." I grinned, my heart skipping another beat. "Consider me your dedicated supporter for life," i said, my voice low but firm. "I'll be there for every game, cheering you on like a madman." Adriti smiled, genuinely touched. Despite my confident demeanor, there was something earnest about my words that made it hard to doubt my sincerity. "I'll hold you to that," she said, meeting my gaze with an unwavering look of her own. "I hope you're prepared to lose your voice shouting from the stands." I chuckled again, my eyes never leaving hers. "Losing my voice for you? A small price to pay," i replied, my tone both teasing and serious. We stood there, the tension between us building like a low hum, neither one quite ready to break the spell. I took a small step closer, my body now just inches away from hers. "You know," i said, my voice soft and intimate, "I was so drawn to your focus while you were playing. It's captivating, the way you throw yourself completely into the game. I can just imagine how it might translate off the court." My eyes flickered from hers to her lips, and Adriti felt a shiver run down her spine. I was close now, so close she could feel the heat radiating from my body. Just as Adriti was about to speak, a loud cheer from the crowd broke through the tension, reminding them they were still in public. I took a small step back, clearing my throat. "I should probably let you go," i said, my tone a mix of disappointment and resignation. "But I would love to continue this conversation later." Everyone was waiting for them to lift the cup so I just left them and to my seat.
